We sit at a junction of three neighborhoods, which is the secret to why this address works so well. Walk south for tacos, murals and the park; north for Hayes Valley's boutiques and the opera house; west for the Castro's bars and its landmark theatre. Almost everything below is reachable in under twenty minutes on foot — no car, no transit, just a pair of comfortable shoes.
